ABOUT PAT

Pat Kiernan has been waking up New Yorkers since 1997 as the morning anchor for NY1 News.

He's best known for his daily "In the Papers" feature, a fast-moving summary of the top news headlines. In 2009 he brought a national adaptation of the summary online at PatsPapers.com.

He's a versatile broadcaster who's hosted everything from game shows to business news to coverage of the Halloween Parade.

Pat is frequently called upon to play "himself" in movies and TV programs set in New York.

Pat moved to New York from Alberta, Canada. References to Canada are frequent in his NY1 reporting. He lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with his wife Dawn and daughters Lucy and Maeve.

ABOUT JAMIE

Jamie Stelter has been helping New Yorkers get to work and school on time since 2010 as the traffic reporter for NY1 News.

While she spends her mornings bantering with Pat and navigating the city's rails and roads, she spends afternoons cooking healthy meals at home and cataloging them on her food blog TV Dinner. Even though the 2015-2016 season is off to a rough start, she's a Philadelphia native so she roots for the Eagles.

In 2011, she published her first novel, Transit Girl, based in part on her experience as the dating columnist for Complex Magazine.

Jamie is now happily married to CNN's Senior Media Correspondent and host of "Reliable Sources," Brian Stelter; the two live together in the West Village.
